The scope of the project NutScan is to further develop and demonstrate monitoring equipment for steam installations and to prove the value of it in today's process industry. We are interested in these developments as a constructor and installer of thermal oil heaters and steam boilers. Equipment like this could be an important asset in our search for energy efficient steam production. We would like to express our support and interest in this project. Although most of the technologies for energy monitoring are available, reality shows that most small and medium installations are not equipped with this, making it impossible to monitor and improve energy efficiecy of the installations. At the same time monitoring helps in the early detection of problems such as failing insulation, burner issues and even safety hazards. We would like to stay informed about the project progress and outcome as well as we're willing to advice the research team to get an optimal industrial relevance.
